Dennis Rodman showed up for his first taste of AEW action on Collision this week, and he quickly followed that up with an appearance at All Out. He was ringside during the Trios Title match during the Zero Hour show, and it was a nice treat for Chicago fans. That being said, someone had to pitch the idea.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Jeff Jarrett was actually the person behind the Dennis Rodman pitch for AEW. According to the report, it was the WWE Hall of Famer who pitched to bring The Worm in.

“Jeff Jarrett had pitched the Dennis Rodman integration into AEW All Out.”

It seems that Jeff Jarrett has a certain amount of pull backstage in AEW. At least he’s able to pitch ideas for Tony Khan, ones that TK takes under serious consideration. We’re not sure how much AEW paid Dennis Rodman to make a couple appearances, but the NBA Hall of Famer doesn’t show up for free.

We will have to see if Dennis Rodman makes himself a regular face in AEW. If anything, it’s nice to have that highlight footage of Rodman for AEW’s future celebrity cameo reels.

What’s your take on Dennis Rodman showing up in AEW? Is he a good fit for the company? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you’re thinking!
