John Cena is certainly one of the biggest names in pro wrestling history as he has accomplished a great deal in his 20+ years in WWE. He returned on Smackdown this week and it appears Cena admitted that his last time in the ring is coming up soon after Smackdown.

John Cena returned during WWE SmackDown this week and laid waste to Jimmy Uso, who rudely interrupted him during the show. Cena also confirmed that he will be hosting WWE Payback this Saturday.

While speaking in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelly, John Cena talked about his WWE return and stated that his SmackDown appearance wasn’t his last. That said, Cena admitted that the end of his in-ring career is drawing near.

“Every single chance I get to go out there becomes more and more special. There is no denying the fact that I’m 46 and staring down 47. I’ve been here for over two decades. As I said out there in the ring, the last one is not tonight, but I know it’s soon. To speak candidly, when you’re involved in this every day in a full-time capacity, you just think about what’s next.”
