WWE released quite a few Superstars over the past three years, which began back in April 2020’s mass exodus. Many fans felt a lot of the releases were blunders and this included The Authors Of Pain’s release. Now it appears WWE might have secretly re-hired them months ago.

The Authors Of Pain was released by WWE back in 2020 and Ringside News had an exclusive report on the backstage reactions after their release from Vince McMahon’s company.

Fightful previously reported that WWE had an interest in bringing Akam and Rezar a few months ago, but no further updates were given. In an update by Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, sources told Fightful months their initial report that Adak and Rezar have been under contract to WWE since last year.

That said, Fightful have not confirmed whether that is the case. They were told that it ‘was before Vince McMahon came back, because that put a halt on all signings besides new recruits’.
