Bryan Alvarez stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that he was told two different stories about CM Punk’s travel issues in London. He was told one story that AEW didn’t have anyone at the airport, and Punk couldn’t reach anyone when he tried to call. The second version is that he was actually able to reach someone, but then he was okay with taking London’s tunnel to get to the hotel.

Either way, AEW did not send anyone to meet CM Punk at the airport. That part of the story is 100% true, and that is why he was spotted by fans in the tube.

Tony Khan addressed that situation regarding CM Punk’s fight with Jack Perry during his opening statement after All In London in the media scrum. He admitted that there was an incident and they are investigating the matter. The latest on this story is that Punk and Perry might be suspended until that investigation concludes.
