Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character truly showcased his creative genius, as fans couldn’t believe something like that was possible in WWE. Unfortunately, The Fiend never got the booking he deserved, especially after losing to Goldberg. It appears that match made EC3 lose hope in WWE.

Bray Wyatt’s Fiend gimmick was initially booked as an unstoppable force in WWE. However, his match against Goldberg at Super Showdown 2020 ended up ruining all that after he lost the Universal Title to the WWE Hall Of Famer.

While speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 talked about Goldberg’s match with Bray Wyatt back in 2020. EC3 stated that Wyatt’s loss to Goldberg made him lose hope in WWE.

“He (Bray Wyatt) has that match with Goldberg in Saudi, and you know, he loses the title. I knew that if he couldn’t get it done from a creative aspect, to come up with it, invest in it, take it this far, and it still goes down that path; there’s no hope for any of us,.”
