The Gunns have established themselves as the top heels in AEW’s tag team division. That being said, they are still Billy Gunn’s sons and they have a contentious relationship with their father. After Billy Gunn came out of retirement on Dynamite this week, it appears Austin Gunn reacted to the same.

Last month on AEW Collision, Billy Gunn teased his retirement from in-ring competition after losing to The House Of Black. Fans wondered if he was actually retiring or whether it was just a storyline.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Billy Gunn made it clear he wasn’t retiring just yet. Billy also announced a trios match against House of Black alongside The Acclaimed this Sunday at All In. The legend called Max Caster and Anthony Bowens his kids during his promo.

Austin Gunn was definitely not happy with what his father said, as he took to Twitter and stated that Billy Gunn should have stayed retired instead.

We will have to wait and see whether The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn will be able to defeat The House of Black at the AEW All In event this week, as fans would love for that to happen.
