Tyrus really stirred the pot recently when he said that he would beat his children if they announced their pronouns. Needless to say, he did have some support on the Fox Nation platform that he used to stay that, but the pro wrestling community is, by majority, not happy about what he said.

In case you need a refresher, the NWA World Champion said, “If my kids came home and said, ‘Daddy, my pronouns is this, this and this.’ Yeah, my pronoun would be ‘ass-whooping.'” Many fans heard him say that, and his former coworkers as well, including Lance Storm.

It seems that Lance Storm is not a fan of what Tyrus said at all. He posted twice on X to speak about Tyrus, and one highlight was Storm simply saying “f*ck that guy.”

“Let me put this as politely as I can. F*ck this guy.

“People stirring this kind of hate leads to people getting killed, and everyone on this show is just laughing.”

We will have to see what happens next in this situation. Tyrus’ has not backed down from his comments at all, and that makes his job as a political commentator even more firm. Only time will tell how long he holds onto the NWA World Title, but he hasn’t commented on this controversy yet.

Tyrus found a second career in a place nobody expected him to when he departed WWE. He still takes bumps in the ring, but it appears he’s also making a lot of waves outside the pro wrestling business.

What’s your take on Tyrus’ words about pronouns? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
