LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. He is currently on the cusp of greatness, but not quite there yet. Now it appears Knight revealed that Dr Dre inspired one of his catchphrases.

LA Knight’s charisma and solid mic skills have helped elevate him to a top position in Vince McMahon’s company, despite WWE’s questionable booking decisions in the past few months.

While speaking in new interview, LA Knight was asked about his promo style and the emphasis he puts on the word “everybody” and its origin. Knight explained that “with everybody sayin’” is actually a reference to Dr Dre. The line is taken from Let Me Ride which first appeared on the album The Chronic in 1992.

It actually comes from ‘Let Me Ride’ by Dr Dre in ‘The Chronic.’ The very last chorus, going ‘with everybody sayin.”

LA Knight also believes WWE needs to change plans and push him. He is currently feuding with The Miz on Monday Night RAW, so we’ll have to wait and see whether WWE will eventually give him a solid push.
