AEW’s flagship show, Dynamite, carried on with another show this week, and the company focused on All In London in a big way. They brought the best the brand has to offer to TBS, but there were also some interesting names backstage.

Summer Rae departed from WWE years ago, but she never left the pro wrestling world. She also still has a ton of fans who would love to see her pop up somewhere else.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Summer Rae was backstage at AEW Dynamite this week. Interestingly enough, CJ Perry has been backstage with Miro as well. It is Summer Rae’s presence that was really surprising.

This week in Nashville saw numerous non-AEW talent backstage at the show. Perhaps the biggest of which, is one of the most famous WCW Champions of all-time, David Arquette. He did not Rumble, nor was he Ready To.

Lana, also known as CJ Perry was at the show visiting with Miro. Lana and Miro have a home in the area. Perry hasn’t worked a match or done wrestling appearances outside of signings since leaving WWE, but was booked for a show last year that got canceled.

Summer Rae was also backstage at the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite. She’s expressed interest in the past about making appearances in the past, and wrestled at the 2022 Royal Rumble. She had a couple of matches after her WWE run as well.

We will have to see if this amounts to anything with Summer Rae and AEW. After all, her debut for Tony Khan’s company might cause a lot of attention. That being said, TK needs to make sure that he does a good job making the most of the former Total Divas star if it happens.

Speaking of Total Divas, CJ Perry could always join her husband, Miro, in AEW eventually. Only time will tell if that finally happens.
