Charlotte Flair’s booking in WWE is always a sore subject for many fans, who are fed up with seeing her win titles all the time. That being said, no one can deny just how talented Flair is in the ring. Now it appears she is determined to surpass her father Ric Flair’s World Title record.

When John Cena tied Ric Flair’s record of 16 World Title reigns in 2017, many believed that John Cena was going to be the one who would end up breaking the record by having 17 World Title reigns recognized by WWE. That may no longer be the case anymore.

At the moment, Charlotte Flair is a 14-time Women’s Champion, so she needs three more title reigns to surpass her father. While speaking with New York Live, Charlotte Flair made it clear that she is determined to surpass her father Ric Flair’s World Title record.

“So John Cena just tied my dad. So now I have Cena and my dad to beat. But no, I’m definitely chasing 17. And I think if, or when I break the record, it’ll be like a woman did it in a male-dominated industry. And I hope that encourages women in all industries that we can do it all. Yeah.”

Ric Flair even claimed that he and John Cena congratulating Charlotte Flair on breaking their record would get 2.3 rating as well. Charlotte Flair’s title reigns also have a very impressive stat connected to them. Only time will tell whether Charlotte Flair will be able to surpass her father.
