RVD is definitely one of the most technically-gifted pro wrestlers to have ever competed in the pro wrestling world. The icon even made a couple of appearances on AEW television and now it appears he got WWE’s permission to debut in AEW.

RVD made a name for himself in ECW back in the 90s before debuting in WWE in 2001. He would go on to become one of the most popular names in the company, but that doesn’t mean his legacy is just tied to those companies.

The WWE Hall Of Famer had a solid match against Jungle Boy on last week’s of AEW Dynamite, where he almost had it won before Jack Perry used a low blow to secure the win.

RVD took to Twitter and addressed all his haters who believed RVD did WWE wrong by working in AEW. RVD revealed that he got WWE’s permission to debut in Tony Khan’s company.

Some fans are saying I did WWE wrong by appearing on AEW. I wonder if they would all eat shit f I revealed that I had permission to do it? Or would they just move on to puke out the next meaningless bullshit that comes out of their mouths?

Yeah, I figured. I’ll keep it to my self for now.

AEW was also very happy with RVD’s performance in his match against Jack Perry. Only time will tell what is in RVD’s future, as fans want to see him back on AEW television in the future.

What’s your view on what RVD said? Do you want to see RVD back in AEW? Share your thoughts in the comments!
