Marty Jannetty was one of the most popular tag team wrestlers of the 1980s and 90s. Shawn Michaels and Marty formed the Rockers, one of the biggest draws in the division, spanning both the AWA and WWE. That said, his legacy has largely been tarnished due to his antics outside the ring. Now it appears he has reacted to being called a murderer.

In case you didn’t know, Marty Jannetty allegedly murdered a man outside bowling alley when he was 14. That man was allegedly trying to rape the young Jannetty, and it was self-defense.

Jannetty previously stated that he burned that body, but then he said it was all pro wrestling storyline when police questioned him on things. This story hasn’t died down yet as some people still call him a murderer. Jannetty took to his Facebook page and reacted to being labeled as a murderer again, making it clear he was very irate.

ok, I just need to the f*ck can you call me a murderer if I was 13 and the dude was trying to rape me??? and even then it wasnt intentional, its called getting this ninja off of me.

Marty Jannetty’s episode of Dark Side of the Ring released recently, but it didn’t exactly set the world on fire. Regardless, Jannetty will continue to live his life the way he wants to and that’s all that matters to him.
