LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. Coming straight off a solid run in Impact Wrestling, fans wanted him to succeed in WWE. Now it appears he claimed he told WWE to fire him if he failed to get over in three months.

The former NXT Superstar has organically gotten over with fans due to his ability to connect with the audience, which is mostly because of his remarkable work on the microphone.

LA Knight’s charisma and solid mic skills continue to win the hearts of many, despite his questionable booking in WWE right now. While speaking with Busted Open Radio’s Dave LaGreca, Knight claimed that e told WWE to fire him if he didn’t get over in three months.

When I first came back in 2021, I said, ‘Look, here’s the deal,’ I said, ‘If you feel like I’m not getting over after three months, get me out of there.’ That’s how confident I was that just in a short amount of time, I’m gonna make this happen. I know how to do this. I’ve been around it long enough to make that happen and you know, I had a little more help in NXT at least as far as billing and the way I was kind of used and whatnot. It’s been a little bit more of a struggle up here but somehow, some way, here we are.
