AEW is always looking to add more names to their roster, and they are far from finished at this point. Now, it appears that they have added another name to their lineup, and this could excite a lot of fans with the possibilities ahead of him.
AEW is coming off a big string of events, but they have even more in the pipeline. With AEW All In London and AEW All Out coming up in very fast order, there is a lot of use for a diverse roster right now.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW has inked a deal with Zack Clayton. His deal is a “tier 1” contract, and he was very recently added to the AEW roster page for that reason.
We’ve got some confirmation on a recently signed AEW talent.
Zack Clayton revealed back in November that he’d signed a deal with AEW. We’ve been told that it is actually a full-time, tier 1 deal. Clayton was added to the AEW roster page fairly recently, after not being on it the first several months of his deal.
Lately, Clayton has been making appearances in Ring of Honor, forming a tag team partnership with Cole Karter. However, even before that, he was a familiar face on AEW Dark since 2020, and his involvement in bookings notably increased in 2022. While Clayton hasn’t yet competed on AEW Dynamite, he did participate in an FTW Title match against Hook in August 2022 on AEW Rampage.
We will have to see what’s next for Zack Clayton in AEW. He could have a lot of things in store for him, and it’s anyone’s guess how many big matches he gets along the way. Judging by how Tony Khan is pushing younger talent all the time, Clayton might have a very wild ride in his future with the company.
