Big E suffered a broken neck in 2022, and he hasn’t been back yet. There were plans for him to, at least, do some media before London for Money in the Bank, but it seems that fell through.

The former WWE World Champion suffered a broken neck in March 2022 and has since provided updates on his recovery. He didn’t need surgery for that injury, but he still hasn’t made a return to the ring just yet. That being said, there is no timetable for his return just yet.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Big E was actually supposed to be a part of the media before Money in the Bank. Sadly, that didn’t happen, and no New Day members were a part of the tour.

Big E was actually scheduled to participate in media at one point leading up to Money in the Bank, but it didn’t end up happening. We didn’t hear of any New Day members who were on the tour.

Big E’s journey to recovery from a C1 injury has been time-consuming, even for athletes like Big E. Such injuries necessitate a rigorous rehabilitation process focused on restoring strength, range of motion, and flexibility.

The C1 bone, also known as the atlas, plays a crucial role in supporting the skull and facilitating head movement. Injuries to the C1 bone can be exceedingly serious and carry potential life-threatening consequences. The recovery timeline for C1 injuries varies depending on the fracture’s severity and the individual’s unique healing capacity. It is essential to approach the healing process with patience and commitment in order to achieve the best possible recovery outcomes.

The duration of Big E’s absence from the wrestling ring and his eventual return remains uncertain, as only time will provide the answer. Although he may currently feel well and maintain a positive mindset, it does not automatically indicate that he is ready to withstand additional physical impact at this particular stage. The decision regarding his return will depend on various factors, including his recovery progress and medical clearance.

Big E’s return would mean a lot to fans, but will it happen this year even? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you’re thinking!
