With WWE now back in the United States, tonight’s episode of Raw, set in Baltimore, Maryland on July 3rd, promises to be an eventful one. Now, we have an update on Drew McIntyre’s status.

According to PW Insider, Drew McIntyre is scheduled to appear on the show as a regular, resuming his feud with Gunther over the WWE Intercontinental Championship. That means fans should probably expect him for RAW tonight.

It is worth noting that Drew McIntyre has held the Intercontinental Title once before, back in December 2009, where he reigned as champion for an impressive 161 days. Only time will tell if he gets another run.

Drew McIntyre, who had been absent from the wrestling scene since WrestleMania 39 in April, made a triumphant return after Gunther successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Matt Riddle at the July 1 event.

We will have to see what WWE has in store for Drew McIntyre. It seems that he will pick things up with GUNTHER in a big way. For more on this story, and everything else in the pro wrestling world, stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
