Zelina Vega Wants To Have ‘Spider-Man Moment’ With AJ Lee In WWE

AJ Lee’s contributions to the pro wrestling world cannot be denied. She has done a lot for the industry during her time in WWE and even now, fans have been clamoring for her to come back. Now it appears Zelina Vega wants to have a ‘Spider-Man’ moment with her in WWE.

AJ Lee’s success story in WWE is undoubtedly a remarkable one, to say the least. After all, she gets credit for helping to jumpstart WWE’s Women’s Revolution. She left pro wrestling back in 2015, immediately after WrestleMania 31.

While AJ Lee has not competed in the ring for over eight years now, that does not mean fans do not want to see her back. She has inspired numerous WWE Superstars over the years and that includes even Zelina Vega.

While speaking to WrestleTalk, Zelina was asked about AJ Lee returning to WWE. Vega made it clear she would love to have AJ Lee back and expressed her desire to have a ‘Spider-Man’ moment with AJ Lee in WWE.

“I would love to see AJ back. I would love to have that Spider-Man moment of, ‘Oh, oh.’ My gosh, it’s funny to have somebody else from the northeast to be able to say, ‘Wow, she made it.’ She was the blueprint for a while. She was that girl. So it’s cool to, number one, even have that opportunity to play her in the movie. I probably listened to her voice for so many hours and hours to make sure I could get the pitch and everything right. When I told Punk that, he was like, ‘You probably listened to her more than I have. That’s interesting.”

AJ Lee is also taking it slow with her pro wrestling return. Regardless, fans will never forget everything that AJ Lee did and will continue to hope she will eventually return to the ring.
