Max Caster of The Acclaimed has become one of the fan favorites in AEW. This is largely due to his impressive rapping skills and solid in-ring skills. He was also absent from AEW Dynamite this week and it appears this was due to illness as well.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite had a lot of things taking place, which set up storylines for the future. However, there were notable absences from the show. After all, Britt Baker couldn’t compete on the show due to illness.

It turns out that she wasn’t the only AEW star who missed the show due to illness as Max Caster was absent from the show. He was supposed to appear in a segment on AEW Rampage which eventually saw Billy Gunn and Anthony Bowens making the save during the QT Marshall & Johnny TV match against Matt Hardy & Brother Zay.

Max Caster was also set to appear at Wrestling Open facing Richard Holliday on Thursday, June 29. Caster took to Twitter and revealed that he got ill after having sushi in Worcester.

Even Adam Cole wasn’t able to compete at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view due to illness, but was able to appear in a backstage segment on Dynamite this week. Regardless, we hope Max Caster will be healthy in time for next week’s show.
