AEW Dynamite is a live television show, and you never know what can happen to change plans. Sadly, Britt Baker was ill this week, and her match had to be changed around.

Due to illness, Britt Baker’s scheduled Owen Hart Cup Tournament match against Ruby Soho on tonight’s Dynamite has been postponed. This was a change of plans that needed to be done.

The quarterfinal match was originally planned to take place on Wednesday’s show, but Tony Khan announced that Baker is unable to compete, and the match will be rescheduled for next week. Soho, however, will still be participating in tonight’s episode.

In a similar vein, Adam Cole, who is in a relationship with Baker, was also removed from his match against Tom Lawlor at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door due to illness.

Adam Cole’s illness must have traveled to Britt Baker. We’re hoping that she can get back to 100% once again, because this week’s match against Ruby Soho will have to go down next week.

This was an interesting week for AEW Dynamite. After all, Renee Paquette also got involved in her first angle for Tony Khan’s company.

Britt Baker is a tent pole of the AEW Women’s Division, but is she the best their roster has? Sound off in the comments!
