AEW and NJPW held another Forbidden Door event tonight, and the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada was filled with passionate pro wrestling fans. That being said, they didn’t have as many fans in the building as they said.

AEW and NJPW presented a big Forbidden Door event, and it was a packed house. That being said, AEW inflated the numbers a bit.

Wrestle Tix provided the latest ticket information for the Forbidden Door event. It seems that Tony Khan’s company announced over 1k more people in attendance than they actually had in the building.

Tickets Distributed => 13,631

Announced attendance: 14,826

Tony Khan tweeted out that AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door event did $1.2 million for their gate, one of the top 3 largest live gates in Canada’s history of pro wrestling.

Canada has a rich history in pro wrestling, so to hold down #3 is a big deal. We will have to see if AEW can achieve any more big numbers, but they didn’t really have as many people as they said.
