Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles a few weeks ago, and they had quite a first match as their first challengers. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions threw down with them on SmackDown this week.

The two teams had a hard-fought match, but in the end, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the match. They celebrated the big moment after gaining a double submission on the former NXT Women’s Women’s Tag Team Champions.

We previously reported that Ronda Rousey is being considered for a role in NXT. The company is trying to beef up their developmental program, and it appears that Rousey will be going to NXT as 1/2 of the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
