WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has accomplished a lot in his pro wrestling career. He especially made a name for himself in WCW, but it appears Booker T never had any intention of squaring off against Hulk Hogan.

The nWo, comprised of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, was founded during the 1996 Bash At The Beach event, where Hulk Hogan was revealed to be the mystery third member. It ended up changing pro wrestling for good and the effects are being felt even now.

Despite the fact that Booker T once cut a very controversial promo on Hulk Hogan in the past, Booker T never squared off against Hulk Hogan in the past.

While speaking on The Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about wrestlers he never got to face in his career. When asked about Hulk Hogan, Booker T made it clear he had no intention of ever facing Hulk Hogan and explained why.

“I never wrestled Hogan, but I never really wanted to wrestle Hogan. I just never thought Hogan and I would have great chemistry … I didn’t see our styles working well together at all. I didn’t see that match being a classic or anything like that just because Hogan, at that time especially, didn’t do anything but punches … I could maybe be in a tag team [match with him and a partner against Harlem Heat]. That might have worked because we would have been the heels and he would have been the babyface. All he would have to do was sell and make a comeback. Leg drop go home. That might have worked.”

Booker T had a highly successful career in professional wrestling and he couldn’t be more proud of all he has accomplished. Regardless, it’s irrelevant to him that he never got to square off against Hulk Hogan.

What’s your take on what Booker T said? Do you think he should have squared off against Hulk Hogan? Sound off in the comments!
