Due to his veteran status, Jim Ross definitely knows how the pro wrestling world functions and how certain things in AEW are viewed. Naturally, whatever Jim Ross says carries a lot of weight.

AEW Collision finally made its debut last night and it was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches. Jim Ross was part of the commentary team for the show. However, he was clearly not able to give his best performance and was showing signs of wearing down and making errors.

The WWE Hall Of Famer was more than aware of his own performance. As such, he took to Twitter and apologized for the way he sounded during the show and stated that he will be stepping away to heal.

Jim Ross got hurt before AEW Collision last night but decided to work the show as it was his duty. We will have to wait and see whether Jim Ross will be able to recover as soon as possible.
