This week on SmackDown, the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions came out to the ring, and then things really popped off in a big way. Now, it seems that the company will only have one set of Women’s Tag Team Titles very soon.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were called up to the main roster from NXT as the brand’s Women’s Tag Team Champions. They didn’t get very far into their promo this week before they were interrupted.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler came out as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then they started things off with Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre in a big way. After a bit of a back-and-forth, the two teams agreed to compete in a title unification match.

The segment ended in a brawl between the two teams. Only time will tell who walks away from this situation with the titles.
