Sabu showed up at AEW Double or Nothing to help Adam Cole in his match against Chris Jericho. Some fans were delighted to see Sabu in Las Vegas, but a repeat performance isn’t likely.

Mike Johnson was asked on PW Insider whether Sabu will be back in AEW. His response was not very assuring that AEW fans will see him again.

I’ve heard nothing about that happening as of this writing.

As we previously reported, Tony Khan strongly hinted that Sabu will not be back in AEW after Double or Nothing. After all, the ECW original drummed up lot of trouble when he appeared on AEW television.

Sabu and Renee Paquette went at it in 2018, and the ECW Original didn’t come off in the best light. That resurfaced tweet said, “She is the 1st non f*g, but she is one of many c*ck s*ckers.” Fans were not happy with Sabu at the time, and that tweet resurfaced in a big way.

Ryan Satin also tweeted out, so fans didn’t forget about an article that ran on Pro Wrestling Sheet years ago about Sabu. In that article, he called Taz the N-Word, and he was not sorry about that at all.

We reached out to Sabu asking why he believes it’s kosher to use such offensive terms and he responded saying, “Grow up every one is a little bit racist. Even ur mother.” Brunk adds, “I am not a racist but I don’t care if a n***er that called me a drug addict thinks so.”

We will have to see where Sabu pops up next, but it seems that there isn’t a place for him in AEW. Those fans just don’t forget, especially about politically incorrect infractions.

Sabu might be cancelled with some fans, but others would love to see him again. Only time will tell if he pops up once again, but it’s not a good idea to hold your breath about an AEW return.
