Don Callis AEW Dynamite Segment Drew Legit Nuclear Heat This Week

Don Callis is now aligned with Konosuke Takeshita, and that is not a booking decision that a lot of AEW fans approve of. The duo is set to make a lot of noise in AEW, because the company has big plans for Takeshita. It appears that things worked out well for them this week.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Don Callis’ segment on AEW Dynamite this week drew legit response from the live crowd. The house might not have been full, but Callis’ heat was nuclear.

Also in getting notes from people at that show, they said in the crowd people booed so loudly you can’t hear a thing Don Callis or Konosuke Takeshita were saying

Don Callis did not make anyone happy when he turned on Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing. He once stood by The Cleaner’s side, but that eventually came to an end.

AEW is actually continuing and angle that Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita ran at a PWG event months ago. Callis showed up to scout Takeshita. So, this might have been a long time coming as well.
