Seth Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions, and he had his first title defense on television against Damian Priest this week on RAW. Now, it seems that they are set to run that match again on the blue brand next time.

Madison Square Garden was considered the World’s Most Famous Arena for a long time. The venue has hosted several high-profile WWE events, and they have sold out MSG many times over the years as well. Now, it appears they are gearing up for another big show.

MSG’s official Twitter account dropped a note to promote their upcoming SmackDown event on Friday, July 7th. It appears that Seth Rollins will be in the house to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest.

JUST ANNOUNCED! From Monday Night RAW see @WWE World Heavyweight Championship Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Damian Priest!

This is a big match, because Seth Rollins is usually exclusive to RAW with his title. Only time will tell if this match makes it on television, because it very well could be a dark match only to encourage New York fans to buy tickets.

It appears that Seth Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank on July 1st. Only time will tell if Balor will get slotted against his own stablemate if he wins that match in London’s O2 Arena.
