Liv Morgan was going strong as 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then she was taken out of action thanks to an injury. Now, we are getting a bit of an update, and it seems her shoulder is certainly an issue.

Liv Morgan has been absent from WWE television since May 12th. This absence is a result of an injury she sustained during her and Raquel Rodriguez’s title defense against Bayley and Dakota Kai.

After the match, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were forced to relinquish the titles due to Liv’s injury sustained in the bout. Reports soon surfaced indicating that Liv had suffered a shoulder injury that would require a significant recovery period.

During an UpUpDownDown stream, Liv Morgan confirmed her shoulder injury and expressed her determination to compete despite the setback, even joking that she could defeat Mansoor “with only one shoulder.”

Sadly, Liv Morgan wasn’t the only one injured during the May 12th title defense, as Dakota Kai tore her ACL while protecting Liv from further aggravating her injury. Now, fans are waiting for both of them to return.

Raquel Rodriguez found a new tag team partner in Shotzi, and on the May 29 episode of Raw, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler emerged as the new champions in a four-way match, dethroning Raquel and Shotzi as the reigning titleholders.

Hopefully, Liv Morgan is able to rest up and come back 100%. She also has an acting gig in the pipeline, as she and Charlotte Flair are set to be in a film based on the life of Mildred Burke.
