WWE is gearing up for the aftermath following Night of Champions on SmackDown, and the company has Money in the Bank plans to kick off the ground. Next week’s episode of RAW will also be a big one, as WWE confirmed Seth Rollins’ first challenger for his World Heavyweight Title.

We previously reported that Damian Priest stepped up to challenge Seth Rollins for his title. It appears that this was official, because the company confirmed the match during SmackDown.

Michael Cole announced during the show that Seth Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest on RAW next week. That will mark his first title defense.

We’ll have to see how everything pans out when the show goes live. Only time will tell how newsworthy of a night it is going to be, but we are certain to see some momentum toward Money in the Bank. It also appears that it will be a big night for Seth Rollins as well.
