Cody Rhodes had a rough time after WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar jumped him, and that resulted in a feud between the two of them. A match in Puerto Rico saw Rhodes win, but then Lesnar broken his arm before their match in Saudi Arabia, which ended in a referee stoppage. Now, we have to see what’s next.

WWE booked Cody Rhodes to keep that arm in a sling as he challenged Brock Lesnar to another match. As Ringside News exclusively reported, there is 100% a plan for them to wrestle again.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Cody Rhodes is booked to continue his broken arm angle. That being said, the company is still advertising him to compete at upcoming house shows.

Even though they are doing a broken arm angle with Rhodes, he did say he would be at all the house shows and they are advertising Rhodes vs. Balor street fights and Rollins vs. Miz for the title are the house show main events scheduled this week.

We will have to see if WWE keeps Cody Rhodes in a sling and then has him wrestle at those house shows. They have tried to keep television angles going at house shows, but that would require them altering their advertised plans. Then again, WWE posters always say that the card is subject to change for a reason.

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar’s next match has not been booked. Money in the Bank and SummerSlam are both very good possibilities for that match. Only time will tell how WWE books this situation.
