AEW has a lot of moving pieces right now. Several top stars are currently in the middle of contract negotiations, and Tony Khan doesn’t want to lose them.

WWE is not in hiring freeze by any means. They never were, and any report implying that is not well-informed. The company never stopped scouting for talent, and they also inked deals with a few people already this year. That being said, they aren’t throwing contracts at just anybody anymore.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that AEW is stepping up their game regarding The Elite’s contract talks. Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have not signed new deals yet, and Tony Khan really wants that to happen.

AEW is getting more aggressive in trying to get the contracts of the Young Bucks & Kenny Omega completed.

Hangman Page’s contract with AEW is also running up in a matter of months. His name was not explicitly mentioned in that report, but you have to know what AEW doesn’t want to lose him either.

WWE could have their eyes on Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. Obviously, a lot of things will have to come together in certain ways for that to happen. Only time will tell if AEW ends up losing more EVPs to WWE’s roster.

What’s your take on AEW possibly losing three more EVPs? Sound off in the comments!
