Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has continuously overperformed with whatever task WWE has given him over the years. Rollins loves causing chaos whenever he can and he did just that on RAW this week. Now it appears he hopes he didn’t offend Buddy Matthews too much with his Rhea Ripley segment.
Buddy Matthews, fka Buddy Murphy in WWE, has been in a real-life relationship with Ripley for several months. The two have often shown each other a lot of love and support on social media, despite working in different companies.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins was involved in a hilarious moment with Ripley during the match, as they recreated the same spot that Shawn Michaels and Melina did during the 2006 Survivor Series event.
While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Seth Rollins sent a message to Rhea Ripley, hoping she wasn’t offended by it. He also addressed both Dominik Mysterio and Matthews for the same reason.
“I hope Rhea wasn’t too offended. Hopefully, Dom Dom [Dominik Mysterio] wasn’t too offended. I hope my old protege Murphy wasn’t too offended.”
Buddy Matthews also recently reacted to Dominik Mysterio namedrop during AEW Double Or Nothing last week. Now it remains to be seen what WWE has in store for Seth Rollins as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
