CM Punk was not included in AEW’s Collision announcement, and that surprised a lot of people. Now it appears that they have worked everything out, and he will make his return to AEW television after all.

CM Punk and AEW had a little hiccup in the deal to get him back on Collision. He wanted Ace Steel to be a producer on-site, but that wasn’t happening. Ace Steel was fired for biting Kenny Omega and chucking a chair at a Jackson Brother.

AEW actually re-hired Ace Steel a while ago. As we previously mentioned, Ace Steel was the sticking point with CM Punk, since AEW was willing to re-hire Steel, but he wasn’t allowed in the building for their television taping events. AEW has since denied that they re-hired Ace Steel.

CM Punk hyped his first AEW debut by throwing up a photo of a song called Rampage on his Instagram story. It seems that he’s doing the exact same thing for Collision.

The Second City Savior posted a screenshot from a song called Collision on his Instagram story. He didn’t provide any context, but none was really needed. It seems that he is secretly hyping up fans in Chicago, because he is expected.

We will have to see how CM Punk’s second run in AEW goes. At this point, it’s anybody’s guess, but he’s expected to face Samoa Joe.
