AEW has made an official announcement about their new weekly show, Collision, and the pro wrestling world had mixed reactions. The show will air on Saturday nights starting on June 17th. That being said, concerns about CM Punk’s status with AEW following recent developments, it seems that another issue has emerged surrounding the inclusion of Collision in AEW’s lineup of shows.

While there is a taped Collision event scheduled for a Thursday night already, it is believed that AEW intends to produce live episodes on Saturday nights. That should stop spoilers, but it’s unclear whether an audience will be there on Saturday nights for AEW.

Wade Keller of PWTorch.com noted that “one wrestler outright told us he didn’t sign up for working two TVs per week.” It was also added that “logistically, several wrestlers have expressed to PWTorch concern over the number of travel days each week if that is the plan.”

We previously reported that some stars are not happy about this, because it is messing with their money. After all, a number of AEW stars were making bank on the weekends with convention appearances.

We will have to see how long AEW continues Collision as a live show. It might be in their contract with Warner Bros Discovery to produce an additional two hours of live television every week. If that is the case, then talent needs to get used to this schedule.
