Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will appear in a face to face meeting with their next challengers, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. This comes after last week’s surprise announcement of Reigns’ intention to bring the tag titles back to the Bloodline himself after the failure from The Usos.

It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

SmackDown kicks off live with Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman coming out to the ring. The South Carolina crowd acknowledges Reigns and following that Kevin Owens’ music hits and Owens comes out followed by Sami Zayn who get the huge pop yet again.

Owens and Zayn stand across from Reigns and Sikoa as the crowd chants for Zayn to great annoyance from Reigns. Reigns demands Zayn acknowledges him and that Zayn and Owens drop their titles and leave. Owens tosses the mic aside and steps up to Sikoa as Reigns holds Sikoa back and Zayn holds Owens back. Reigns says it’s typical of Owens but they’re not out here to fight them. Reigns says he has only one regret in his career, wasting his life on Sami Zayn. Zayn says he only regrets not blasting Reigns with a chair sooner. Zayn says Reigns’ greed has allowed Zayn the opportunity to stand against him in the ring again. Zayn says Reigns has been handed whatever he’s wanted his whole life, but at Night of Champions, he will not get the tag titles that he wants. Zayn says Reigns & Sikoa aren’t as good as them, and that they’re not even as good as The Usos.

Reigns looks legitimately upset at this as he begins to scream back at Zayn. This confrontation is cut off by The Usos sneaking up in the ring and taking out Zayn and Owens and celebrating in the ring. Reigns walks up to Jimmy and Jey and berates them for ruining his moment, Reigns goes to leave in the ring and bumps into Sikoa which causes both men to pause for a second as the crowd loudly pops at the first hint of Sikoa and Reigns being against each other.
