Ronda Rousey’s return to WWE saw her get another chance to make a mark in WWE. She is still going strong, and was drafted to RAW alongside Shayna Baszler as a team. That being said, the Baddest Woman on the Planet apparently wants a break.

Ronda Rousey was injured on the road to WrestleMania, and a planned WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match was changed around. Becky Lynch even admitted that winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Lita was not the original plan at all.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are seemingly “cursed.” That being said, they wanted to get Ronda Rousey her run with those titles, because she planned on taking a break from the company.

The women’s tag title obviously depends upon the severity of Morgan’s injury. The women’s tag titles have been cursed since Rousey & Baszler were supposed to win them at Mania and the titles were only step one in a longer-term Rousey storyline.

The timing of this is an issue because Rousey is planning on taking time off at a certain time frame which was prior to WrestleMania, and the story was to end well before that. They would have to speed up the storyline if Rousey doesn’t extend her stay because the original plan was to establish the team as champions for a while and then do the actual storyline that this was to build to.

We will have to see what happens in the weeks to come. With Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler jumping Raquel Rodriguez on this week’s episode of RAW, it seems that she is back on track.

Ronda Rousey’s injury created an unintended opportunity to take time off from WWE. Now, she is back alongside Shayna Baszler, and it appears that they have the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in their sights once again.

What’s your take on Ronda Rousey’s current run in WWE? Is it as good as her last one? Sound off in the comments!
