Rick Ross made a consistent presence on AEW television during the final months of 2022, as he was involved in the feud between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee, aligning himself with Swerve and the Mogul Affiliates.

In a recent interview on Midday with Chad Hastings and Zay Collier, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of Rick Ross returning to AEW TV in the future.

“Rick Ross is a tremendous talent. I’m very excited that Rick Ross has taken an interest in AEW. He’s a great person. He’s really been kind to me, personally, and he’s been a great friend to AEW. We love when he comes to the show and gets involved. You never know when the biggest boss Rick Ross is going to show up in AEW. It could happen at any time,” Khan responded.

Khan expressed his admiration for the element of surprise and unpredictability that AEW brings to its viewers each week. He praised Rick Ross as one of their best cameos of all time and expressed his desire to see the rapper involved more frequently, rather than just making occasional appearances.
