CM Punk has a lot of eyes on him right now, and his name was not a part of AEW’s Collision announcement. Only time will tell if Punk is announced tonight on Dynamite, but the rumor mill is churning big time for Punk today.

CM Punk was expected to be a part of the upcoming Collision program. This will end his year-long break with the company after he engaged in a brawl with three of the company’s EVPs backstage after AEW All Out last year.

CM Punk jumped on his Instagram stories one more time, and he had another video to drop. He sent a selfie video where he delivered a message about the unhealthy relationship that some pro wrestling fans have.

One more before I go really quick, the parasocial relationship that some fringe wrestling fans has is unhealthy. I get the tribalism, but picking sides is silly. You don’t know me. You don’t know anybody else, so just go touch grass.”

This is a very interesting situation with CM Punk, because fans really don’t know what the real story is. That won’t stop them from making assumptions and spreading a lot of opinions about the situation.

CM Punk will keep doing his own thing, and it’s only a matter of time before we find out whether he is really returning to AEW at this point. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this ongoing story.
