AEW is going to see a few changes in the company. Their new Saturday television show will give fans another two hours of live television to consume every week. That will also come with unique stars for the brand, but they’re not trying to be like WWE.

AEW talent was not invited to the Warner Bros Discovery upfront presentations, but the company was still big focus during the event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The company’s new television show, Collision, was announced. Now fans have another show to watch every week, and it will block off two live hours of television every Saturday.

PW Insider reported that although AEW is going to do a brand split with Collision, it was never their intention to ever do anything close to WWE’s RAW and SmackDown split.

We are also told that going forward there is no “brand split” as much as some talents will be exclusive to the Saturday show and others will be on one or the other (or perhaps both), something that will be dictated by storylines. This is not a hard Raw vs. Smackdown split and was never ever discussed as one internally, according to several AEW sources.

AEW also scheduled a mandatory meeting before Dynamite this week. Obviously, the company could have lot to talk about when talent show up to Dynamite tonight. This is especially true with an expected roster split.

We will have ongoing coverage of AEW’s new television show, and every other development from the company, right here at Ringside News.
