WWE has a lot of plans for the future, and it seems that we might have an idea about what they are going to do with GUNTHER. The Intercontinental Champion is still going strong as he leads Imperium, and he is also set to make his big debut on RAW this week. This is a possible spoiler warning on WWE’s plan for him after that.

A potential spoiler surfaced regarding the winner of tonight’s WWE Raw match to determine the next contender for Gunther’s WWE Intercontinental Title. We’ll just have to see if this clue comes out in the was as a full-fledged spoiler.

It was announced on SmackDown that tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will feature a battle royal to establish Gunther’s upcoming opponent. While specific details about the participants and the number of competitors remain unknown, a small hint has emerged.

We reported that Johnny Gargano has been medically cleared to return from injury and even competed in a match at a house show in Augusta, Georgia. Interestingly enough, that match was for the Intercontinental Championship against Gunther.

Although nothing can be guaranteed, there is speculation that WWE booked the house show match to allow Gunther and Gargano to work together before a possible encounter on television. This puts Johnny Gargano as a favorite to become the new #1 contender for GUNTHER’s title.

Tonight’s WWE Raw is advertised as Gunther’s “debut” on the show, it should be noted that he has already appeared on Raw after being officially drafted to the Raw roster during the WWE Draft. Only time will tell how it all pans out when the show airs on television.
