AEW took a big risk when they booked Wembley Stadium for All In London, and it paid off big time. Tickets flew out of the box office, shattering so many predictions for the event. Now, we know how many fans AEW is planning for.

All Elite Wrestling’s All In London event will go down on August 27th. No matches have been booked for the show so far, but that didn’t stop fans from buying tickets in droves.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an impressive 65,000 tickets have already been sold for the event. The current setup allows for a capacity of 74,000 fans, but if AEW manages to reach that target, they are reportedly prepared to open up additional seats.

Right now Wembley Stadium is set up for a capacity of 74,000. That would eliminate a certain number of seats due to the size of staging or seats with obstructed views. The size of the set and how many seats it would take out is to be determined. If they hit 74,000, which would be at least possible and viable, they would open up more seats. If they get to that mark, at that point they could at least have a shot to break all verifiable records for paid attendance. They have no shot at equaling the two New Japan shows in North Korea in 1995.

It is worth noting that the specific configuration of the stage and how it may impact seating capacity is yet to be determined. AEW’s ambitious plans for the event will be the company’s first outing in the market, and they have obviously impressed so far.

Will Ospreay is reportedly going to be part of the event. This is something that some people on the roster might not appreciate, because they don’t even know if they’ll be on the show and tickets have already been sold.

No broadcast situation has been announced for AEW All In London yet. Dave Meltzer noted that it is expected that AEW will strike up a deal with a UK broadcaster. We are still in the dark in North America, and AEW is still holding All Out the next week.
