Brock Lesnar is an ultimate part-timer in WWE. That being said, he’s been around a lot more often in the past few months than fans are used to seeing. Now, he is on the verge of breaking his own 20-year record.

Brock Lesnar was just booked to face Cody Rhodes at the Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia on May 27th. That match will be his second in a row against the American Nightmare, but it will also mark the end of an even longer streak for Lesnar.

This event holds special significance for Brock Lesnar as he is on the verge of setting a new personal milestone. Ever since his return on RAW after WrestleMania 11 years ago, Lesnar has enjoyed a lucrative part-time WWE contract. His popularity, assisted by his successful UFC career and his proven track record in WWE, paved the way for a dream contract.

Night of Champions will mark Brock Lesnar’s fifth consecutive WWE premium live event appearance, something he hasn’t done in the past 11 years. His recent appearances include Royal Rumble 2023, Elimination Chamber 2023, WrestleMania 39, Backlash 2023, with Night of Champions 2023 being the latest addition. Prior to this, Lesnar’s previous personal record since his return in 2012 was four consecutive pay-per-view events from WWE Day 1 to WrestleMania 38.

For those curious about Brock Lesnar’s past accomplishments, the last time he wrestled in five consecutive WWE pay-per-views was back in 2003. During that period, he participated in Royal Rumble 2003, No Way Out 2003, WrestleMania XIX, Backlash 2003, and Judgment Day 2003.

We’ll have to see how Night of Champions turns out for Brock Lesnar. He is certainly wrestling a lot more right now than he has in decades. Only time will tell if this is a sign that we will see him a lot more often this year, or if Lesnar is simply getting his required appearances out of the way early this year so he can take the rest of 2023 off.

What’s your take on Brock Lesnar’s schedule? Are you surprised he’s wrestling so often nowadays? Sound off in the comments!
