Cody Rhodes battled The Miz and Finn Balor in a triple threat match in the World Heavyweight Title tournament. The match had fans’ attention, and it was evenly matched. Then Brock Lesnar showed up to put a huge stop to his momentum.

Cody Rhodes nailed three Crossroads in a row on The Miz. Then he went for a pinfall. Just as the referee was about to count the pin, Brock Lesnar showed up and dragged him out of the ring.

Finn Balor won the triple threat match as Brock Lesnar destroyed Cody Rhodes at ringside. He nailed Cody with an F5, and then he put Cody through a table. Obviously, Brock Lesnar was still upset about how Backlash went down.

Brock Lesnar got on the microphone next and challenged Cody Rhodes to “a fight” at Night of Champions. This was quite a way to make a statement for Brock Lesnar, and the Jacksonville crowd was not happy about it at all.
