WWE is set to hold Backlash in Puerto Rico, and fans on the island can’t wait to see the big event. Bad Bunny, Damian Preist, and Zelina Vega will all represent Puerto Rico on the card, but the main event might have been swapped around bit. That being said, WWE is still impressed with the reception so far.

Fans in Puerto Rico were elated to see Superstars at the WWE Backlash press conference. Triple H even made an appearance, and it was apparent that those fans know their WWE. This might have opened up some eyes for several WWE higher-ups.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE higher ups are very happy with the reception that the company has received in Puerto Rico so far. Obviously, the fan reception has been white-hot the entire time, and Backlash hasn’t even started yet.

Higher ups we spoke to were very happy about the crowd reactions at Smackdown.

WWE has a lot of plans for the future, but they might want to squeeze another trip back to Puerto Rico into their schedule before another twenty years goes by. Puerto Rican fans are passionate about WWE, and they proved that at SmackDown. Tonight’s Backlash event is likely to be an incredibly loud show as fans let WWE know that they want them to come back.

Puerto Rico is also paying WWE lot of money to hold a show on the island. Hopefully, WWE will see the true value in going back more often, so Puerto Rico doesn’t have to buy the show next time.
