Many People In AEW Were ‘Sad’ Over Leva Bates’ Exit

AEW has hired quite a few talent since its inception back in 2019 and throughout the years, a lot of the original talent have left the company for a variety of reasons as well. This includes Leva Bates, who ended up departing the company recently and now it appears her exit has left many within AEW quite sad.

Leva Bates was one of AEW’s original signees for their women’s division. The former Blue Pants in NXT also had an office job in AEW in addition to her role as an in-ring competitor.

She also helped with Public Relations, ran the makeup and wardrobe departments, and  even helped co-run the interactive ‘Heels’ club.’ Bates recently confirmed that her AEW contract had expired and that she was done with the company.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that numerous people in the company were saddened over Leva Bates’ departure from the promotion.

There were a number of people sad with this news as she was very well-liked.

We’ll have to see what Leva Bates has planned for her next pro wrestling venture. Bates is a very talented woman and she would be a great addition to any pro wrestling company that would hire her.
