AEW has plans for Kyle O’Reilly, who is expected to be paired with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong once he returns from neck fusion surgery, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report indicates that AEW has already made plans for O’Reilly to be aligned with Cole and Strong, which would reunite the former members of The Undisputed Era faction from their time in WWE.

While there’s no exact timeline for when O’Reilly will be back in action, both Cole and AEW President Tony Khan have given updates on his recovery progress. Despite some complications from his surgery, O’Reilly is reportedly doing well.

O’Reilly had neck fusion surgery back in February, which forced him to take a hiatus from in-ring competition. In the meantime, Cole has been flourishing in AEW.

Fans of the former NXT stars will likely be thrilled at the prospect of seeing them reunite in AEW, and it’s yet another sign of the promotion’s willingness to bring in top talent from other promotions.
