Drew McIntyre Injury Return: When Can Fans Expect to See Him Back?

Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top Superstars in WWE and has garnered a huge fan following thanks to his passion for the business. Being a workhorse, he is always susceptible to injuries, which is what happened recently. Now it appears that the timetable for his return from injury has been revealed.

The Scottish Warrior’s contractual status in WWE is currently a topic of discussion as he has not agreed to new contract with the company yet. Obviously, fans have been wondering what’s really going on with the former WWE Champion.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Drew McIntyre was injured. The injury took place before his highly acclaimed triple threat match against GUNTHER and Sheamus at WrestleMania 39. After the match, he has been absent from in-ring competition.

According to Dave Meltzer in Wrestling Observer’s Daily Update, Drew McIntyre won’t be returning to action “for at least a few more weeks based on word over the weekend.”

We will have to wait and see when exactly The Scottish Warrior will make his triumphant return to WWE television. After all, fans clearly miss McIntyre, who is an invaluable asset to WWE in general.
