Conor McGregor Calls Out Roman Reigns For WWE SummerSlam Match In Deleted Tweet

Conor McGregor’s success in the Octagon is well-documented, as he is the only man to hold championships in the lightweight and featherweight divisions simultaneously. He has hinted at appearing in WWE on numerous occasions, which is why fans wondered if he will ever go to WWE. McGregor also recently called out Roman Reigns for a match at WWE SummerSlam this year in a now-deleted tweet.

Roman Reigns has been at the very top of the WWE food chain for almost three years now. He has been infallible as the Undisputed Universal WWE Champion, but that doesn’t mean he still doesn’t have any viable opponents.

Conor McGregor is no stranger when it comes to online feuds with WWE Superstars. After all, he had a heated back and forth with Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel Paul Heyman earlier this year. Heyman even sent warning to Conor McGregor after that.

The Notorious One recently took to Twitter and chose violence as he went after Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. In a now-deleted tweet, Conor McGregor called out Roman Reigns for a match at WWE SummerSlam this year.

We will have to wait and see whether Conor McGregor and Roman Reigns will end up taking place at WWE SummerSlam this year. With WWE and UFC’s merger deal finalized, perhaps fans might get to see the match take place.
