AEW’s growth in the past four years has been remarkable, especially considering initial expectations from the time. The company has gotten a dedicated fanbase thanks to its solid wrestling product and growing mainstream appeal. AEW All In has sold a lot of tickets on presale, but a reporter made a very bizarre claim about the ticket sales. Now it appears that Cash Wheeler decided to blast that reporter for their false claim.

AEW will be holding the next All In event at Wembley Stadium this year, which will have a capacity of 90,000. This announcement made quite a few people doubt AEW’s ability to even sell half the capacity for the venue.

Of course, all of the naysayers were quickly shut down after AEW All In ended up selling over 35,000 tickets in the presale. However, not everyone was necessarily happy about this either.

ESPN reporter Mike Coppinger took to Twitter and claimed that he had heard that Wembley Stadium is scaled for only a 40K crowd capacity. This led to AEW President Tony Khan blasting Coppinger and questioning his credibility.

One-half of the AEW Tag Team Champions Cash Wheeler did not really appreciate what Mike Coppinger had to say either. As such, he took to Twitter and mocked Coppinger by calling him a clown.

Hearing this guy is a clown. Can’t disclose sources, so please don’t ask me to name names.

Even MJF made sure to hit back at those who claimed the majority of AEW All In’s ticket sales are sold to scalpers. AEW All In London will be a big show at Wembley Stadium and the company will undoubtedly continue to sell more tickets in time for the August 27th event.

What’s your take on what Cash Wheeler said? Are you surprised by Mike Coppinger’s claim? Sound off in the comments!
