AEW announced that Roderick Strong will make his in-ring debut on Tuesday, May 3, during Dynamite. Roderick will participate in an eight-man tag match alongside AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Adam Cole, and Bandido, against the Jericho Appreciation Society’s Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker. Wrestling legend Chris Jericho will also be on commentary for the match.

Strong had debuted on AEW the previous week, where he had saved Cole, Bandido, and Cassidy from the Jericho Appreciation Society. The feud began when JAS forced Cole to watch the Outcasts attack his girlfriend, former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.

The last time Strong had been in the ring was in August 2022, where he lost to Apollo Crews on the WWE NXT. Strong had been with WWE since 2016, holding several titles in NXT, including the NXT Tag Team Titles twice, former NXT North American Champion, and former NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

Other matches scheduled for the event include a Tres De Mayo Trios Battle Royale, Sarray vs. Willow Nightingale, and a “four pillars” tag team match between Jungle Boy and Darby Allin and AEW World Champion MJF and Sammy Guevara.
